Mrs Mackenzie inspires some sixty three 3-5 year olds and their parents on a daily basis.

Parents are full of praise for the nursery teacher - with some even inspired to put pen to paper and write poetry about their children's favourite teacher.

Others say she has "a unique personality which all the children love. She is a lovely lady, always smiling and full of great ideas. A real asset to the nursery."

The well-loved teacher also keeps busy outside the classroom. Every term she carries out fundraising, ensuring the nursery stays a pleasing and stimulating environment for the children.
