Design-a-logo competition

The challenge was to design a special logo for this year's event which represents excellence and success. There are three age-group category winners and an overall winner was selected from these runners-up

Entries flooded in again this year for the chance to have the winning design, which would mark the Fourth Scottish Education Awards. Entrants from three age group categories were shortlisted by Daily Record and Scottish Executive judges who were looking for a design which represented excellence and success. The winners of each age group were selected first by Neil Buchanan, who gave us a comment about why he picked each one with the final decision going to the First Minister, Jack McConnell MSP, and are pictured below.
