Diageo Global Supplies, which runs a nearby bottling plant, sponsors an enterprise course for S1 pupils and awards a trophy to the best small business. Local staff regularly speak to business education classes about topics such as production. Pupils have the chance to do work experience at the plant and the firm also hosts an annual careers conference for S5 and S6 pupils.

Diageo provides a business adviser who helps students involved in the Young Enterprise scheme and its managers help to judge the pupils' products.

S5 and S6 pupils can compete for four real-life jobs at Diageo and win a week's work experience with the company, giving them an idea of what to expect when they apply for jobs in the future.
